Product Description
Origin
Methi Dana or Fenugreek seeds come from a fragrant herb from the pea family cultivated worldwide as a semiarid crop. It is believed to have originated from Europe and West Asia and is now largely cultivated in India and Mediterranean countries.
Flavour Profile
It was also used for Mummification by ancient Egyptians and to cure infections and heal wounds by ancient Greeks. Methi is a common ingredient found in every Indian household.
Cooking Uses
Fenugreek is usually dry roasted to bring out its flavour and reduce the bitter taste. It can be used both as a whole or in its powdered form. Methi dana creates a perfect balance in any dish that might otherwise taste too rich for the taste buds.
